Towne Storage is a 100,000 sf building originally constructed in 1916, and is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places. With former uses that included storage rental spaces and a paper mill, the timber framed brick building was renovated into creative office and retail space with complete seismic upgrades to bring it up to safety standards. A 6th floor was added to the building along with two roof decks and ADA improvements were performed throughout. The Stoner Electric Group provided complete design build electrical and fire alarm services for the core & shell project with all work meeting the stringent requirements of the Historic Landmarks Commission. Completely new electrical and fire alarm systems were installed throughout, including off site improvements under brick roadways, and architectural lighting was added to highlight the beautiful character of the building.
